The winners in CX innovation across the Middle East have been announced at the annual Gulf Customer Experience Awards in Dubai.
Following a fantastic day of presentations by finalists, and hybrid live and online awards ceremony, the big winners have been announced on the stage at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel.
HSBC, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Experience Hub and a number of DHL Express GCC branches (Kuwait, Bahrain and UAE) were among the big winners on the Awards ceremony day.
The finalists presented their initiatives online a day earlier, before an expert panel of judges comprising of global CX consultants, Heads of CX within firms, and CEOs.
Hosted by Awards International, the Finals event saw teams compete across fourteen categories, including Citizen Experience, CX Team of the Year, and CX in Times of Crisis.
The Overall Winner award was presented to the team from Experience Hub who also won Gold in Contact Centre category and Silver in Employee Engagement and Happiness category prior to the overall winner announcement.
The highly contested CX Professional of the Year title was awarded to Rami Sweis, CEO of Gulf Customer Experience, the first cloud-based digital business process outsourcing (BPO) contact center based in Bahrain.
HSBC (pictured below) made notable wins, with three Gold awards in three categories: CX in Times of Crisis – Customers at the Heart, Employees at the Heart of Everything, and CX Strategy.
The keynote speaker at the ceremony, Frans Reichardt delivered an engaging speech bravely titled “Kissing a Cactus”, sparking up a conversation on the size of one’s dreams and if there is a limit to them.
