The event finals brought us an exciting day combining final presentations of groundbreaking initiatives in the sector and an exciting award ceremony. After the ceremony, we had a great chance to talk with some of the winners who shared their winning frenzy with us, and we have to say, the spirit is quite addictive.

Rachel Harrison, People Person, Brewdog:

‘It’s amazing to win, totally unexpected, we had such a blast today so this is the cherry on top of the cake! To get this recognition is great!’

Claire Deekes, Head of Store Network (South), Virgin Money:

‘This was the one for us that we hoped we’d win because actually recognising our colleagues from within is really important because that’s how we get out success and this is so important to us!’

Trudy Purchase, Head of Learning and Development, Staysure:

‘To win is absolutely amazing we couldn’t have done it without our team, with all their passion, their drive, their energy and all their great ideas’

Andrew Tweedale, Director of Retail Support and Development, DFS:

‘Winning today is absolutely fantastic, we are delighted we have won this for the third time in a row, we are really excited about the future with this apprenticeship programme and where it will take us’

Leah Queripel, HR Director, Care UK:

‘This is a fantastic accolade for all of our team members, who look after our residents day in and day out’

We congratulate all the finalists and winners for showing us the leading trends in the industry and winning their place among the best professionals in the world of employee experience. We are definitely looking forward to the UK EXA 2018.
