Marketing communications company APS Group has been selected by Virgin Money to deliver digital displays for its latest Customer Lounge, launched in Glasgow in July 2014. Digital screens will be used on windows and in-store to provide customers with information about Virgin Money’s range of financial products and how they can use the Lounge. APS has also delivered a cinema room within the Lounge which will be available for use by community groups, local businesses and charity events.

Designed to create a relaxing yet memorable experience, customers of the Glasgow Lounge can use the space to make use of free WiFi and to access iPads, as well as complimentary newspapers, magazines and refreshments.

As part of the digital strategy, APS has implemented two external facing screens which sit in the window of the Glasgow Lounge, providing passing customers with information about available products and services alongside brand messaging. Even on a bright sunny day these screens will have the same readability, as they’ve been built to resist glare.

Dedicated screens within the banking area and Lounge provide customers with further information about Virgin Money’s range of products and current offers. Screens have also been set up in client meeting rooms, which staff can utilise by bringing up tailored content.

APS has worked closely with Virgin Money to develop a content system that can be managed centrally, allowing the team to control and change messaging within a matter of seconds if necessary. This ensures that messaging on digital screens is relevant and timely.
