FINALISTS were converted to winners at the first ever UK Digital Experience Awards 2014, held in London last Wednesday.

Created to recognise and celebrate the delivery of exceptional customer experience through digital channels and media, the Awards proved to be a stunning digital showcase.

Held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London, finalists in each of the 11 categories presented their entries to Judges. Winners were then announced during a sit-down meal for over 200 people, including Heather Small, singer and Barnardo’s celebrity ambassador.

The winners were selected by a panel of judges made up of over 50 industry practitioners. Top names vying for these prestigious awards included: Sky; Nationwide; Amey; Leaseplan UK; Barclays, LV=; Lowell Group and Shop Direct.

The overall winners of the UK Digital Experience Awards were Shop Direct in partnership with Serco for their entry into the Best Digital Team category. They also scooped award for Best Digital Experience in the Online Retail and Telecoms sector.

The Award for Best Innovation in Digital Experience went to Geeks Ltd, and the Global Reviews Award for Best Digital Experience, presented by our partners Global Reviews for best website digital experience was won by LV= for their over 50’s life insurance.
