CarTrawler, an Irish firm that offers around the clock car hire support services beat off stiff competition to emerge as the Overall Winner at the International Customer Experience Awards (ICXAs) last night.
On the night CarTrawler also won gold for Best Customer Service, a silver for the Best BPO Partnership and a bronze in the Customer At the Heart of Everything category. The overall winner at the awards is the organisation that has the highest combined score across its written and live presentations.
“We’re thrilled,” said James Waghorn, director of customer contact with CarTrawler after picking up the Overall Winner award.
“We’ve been on this big journey of transformation now over the last number of years, we’re introduced loads of new technology, lots of different staff programmes… everything has really come together perfectly tonight in terms of winning this award.”
The black-tie event hosted last night at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, the event was attended by over 250 leading CX and EX professionals from around the world and brought together finalists from Central America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

The ICXA is the original and largest celebration of CX around the world.
Founded in 2009, the Customer Experience Awards began in the UK and now operates in the Middle East, North America, Europe and Africa. Entrants and judges from 88 countries have so far participated in the awards.
