Emirates announce deep clean of aircraft to tackle coronavirus spread

Emirates has incorporated new disinfecting measures in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

The airline has implemented increased cleaning efforts on all aircrafts departing from its Dubai centre, disinfecting all cabins and surfaces as a precaution.

Emirates uses HEPA air filters in all of their aircraft, which is proven to to filter out 99.97 percent of viruses.

The airline said any aircraft that has transported a suspected or confirmed coronavirus infected passenger undergoes deeper cleaning and disinfection processes, ensuring the safety and well-being of their customers as the company’s utmost priority.

Three month maternity leave offered by UAE firm

UAE-based construction consultancy firm AESG has announced a new policy offering three months of paid maternity leave, with the initiative revealed to mark International Women’s Day. 

A spokesperson for the firm said in a statement shared on social media: “This further strengthens our commitment to providing a supportive environment for working mothers and empowering and enabling them to thrive in both work and family life.”

Dubai Asset Management Announces expansion

Dubai Properties Community Management has become part of Dubai Asset Management, which are now responsible for property management of all Dubai Holding residential communities.

The real estate management company and member of Dubai Holding increased its number of units to more than 41,000 across 21 communities, housing more than 170,000 people.
