This course covers all aspects of event management from constructing an event brief, developing a project plan and schedule, delivering it on time, in budget and on brand.

Target Audience

This event project management course is aimed at those with little or no existing experience in organising and managing events. It would also be suitable for anyone who would like to add to their skills set especially in the areas of planning and project management.

  • Building an effective event team –utilizing appropriate teams with appropriate tasks
  • Building a project plan, defining tasks, roles and responsibilities and time scales
  • Creating an event budget and budget control
  • Supplier research and selection (Venues, catering, entertainment etc.)
  • Supplier and stakeholder management, contracts and agreements
  • Event marketing
  • Delegate management
  • Event logistics management including on-site set up, delivery and rick assessment
  • Post event close down procedure (Delegate feedback, review, reconcile budget, content etc.)
