CX Day, a global celebration of the companies and professionals that create great experiences for their customers, is here for 2017, with events taking place in London and Birmingham.

This worldwide scheme is hosted in 10 countries on Tuesday October 3 by the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) and in the UK, London will be the location for an event titled ‘What is in the Heart of a Successful CX Strategy’.

This free event at Natalik in Devonshire Square will see CX professionals share ideas and teach those new to CX about how to create a successful customer-centric ethos that will boost their businesses.

Meanwhile, a local networking event will also be held in Birmingham’s Repertory Theatre, featuring expert speakers, case studies, demonstrations, top tips and informal drinks.

For those unable to attend, a webinar is also taking place at 11am, in which Founder of Customer Consultancy Ian Golding and Diane Magers will discuss global trends and disruptors in CX.

“Learn what other organizations are doing, what’s changing in the marketplace, and what can you do to grow your skill set to meet new challenges and plan for 2018 and beyond,” said Ian. Last-minute registrations can be made here.

CX Day will also feature the CX Impact Awards, which “recognise individuals that exemplify excellent Customer Experience and make a profound impact on their organization and its customers.

Speaking of why CX Day was established, a spokesperson for the CXPA said: “Over the past several years, the field of customer experience management has matured, we are seeing more and more companies recognize its importance as a key ingredient in building and maintaining customer loyalty.

“A growing number of professionals have responsibility for assessing and improving customer experience in channels (e.g web, call center, brick-and-mortar store, mobile commerce, etc.), with products, and across entire organizations.

“Best practices for processes, tools, and techniques are emerging across many customer experience management disciplines. In short, customer experience management has become an established profession.”
