Refinitiv, the new name for the Financial and Risk Business of Thomson Reuters, has been recognised for a new online streamlining strategy for clients at the 2018 UK Customer Experience Awards.

In partnership with Clarasys, the brand created ‘My Account’ – a single online authentication space which consolidates 67 portals into one.

Judges at the Wembley Stadium event heard how the initiative offers the one million global customers a “transformed user experience”. It was created following a survey that saw just 49 percent of customers rate ‘the ease of doing business’ seven out of 10.

A spokesperson said of the improved system: “It is easy and convenient to use thanks to an intuitive new layout which takes its inspiration from the best B2B and B2C designs on the market, advanced personalisation, and improved self-serve and support features.”

Following their presentation, judges awarded Refinitiv with the Gold award in the Best International Business category, while the Silver award was presented to Barclays.
