Cast Of The Tower Tv Series

Alright, imagine you're at your favorite café, and I'm that chatty friend who just binged the entire Tower TV series. You know, the one where they build a tower so high, it's like they're trying to reach the moon? Yeah, that one. So, grab your coffee, 'cause I'm about to spill the beans on the cast that made this architectural marvel come to life.

Our Fearless Leader: Sam Richardson

First up, we have Sam Richardson as our protagonist, Jerry. Now, Sam's not your typical leading man. He's more like that quirky friend who always has a plan, even if it involves building a tower to the sky. You might know him from Veep, where he played the lovable Gary Walsh. Well, Jerry's not Gary 2.0, but he's just as lovable, albeit a bit more... ambitious.

Fun fact: Sam's actually a bit of a history buff. He once told an interviewer that if he wasn't acting, he'd be a historian. So, playing Jerry, who's obsessed with historical architecture, was probably a dream come true for him. Or maybe a nightmare, considering the tower they built in the show is, well, let's just say it's not your average historical masterpiece.

Our Skeptical Sidekick: Dianne Wiest

Now, who better to play Jerry's skeptical mom than the legendary Dianne Wiest? She's like the mom we all wish we had - warm, wise, and just the right amount of sassy. In the show, she's trying to keep Jerry grounded while also supporting his crazy dream. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.

Did you know Dianne's been acting since the '70s? That's right, she's a real Hollywood veteran. She's worked with some of the biggest names in the business, from Woody Allen to Martin Scorsese. So, when she signs on to a project, you know it's gonna be good. Or at least, interesting. Like, really interesting. Like, 'why are they building a tower?' interesting.

Our Token Scientist: Joshua Sasse

Next, we have Joshua Sasse as Dr. Elroy, the token scientist who's supposed to make the tower safe. Spoiler alert: he doesn't. But hey, at least he tries. Joshua's got that charming British accent that makes you want to forgive him for not being able to keep the tower from leaning like the Tower of Pisa on a windy day.

Now, Joshua might look familiar, but you might not know his name. He's been in a few shows, like Galavant and No Tomorrow, but he's still flying under the radar. Until now, of course. With the Tower, he's finally getting the recognition he deserves. Or at least, that's what he told me when I interviewed him. Okay, I didn't actually interview him, but a girl can dream, right?

The Tower TV Show, UK Air Date, UK TV Premiere Date, US TV Premiere

Our Mysterious Neighbor: Christina Ricci

Last but not least, we have Christina Ricci as the mysterious neighbor, Lisa. She's quiet, she keeps to herself, and she's got a secret. Or two. Or three. Christina plays her with that perfect mix of vulnerability and strength that she's known for. You can't help but root for her, even when you're not sure what she's up to.

Christina's been acting since she was a kid, and she's got quite the resume. From The Addams Family to Monster, she's played a wide range of roles. But Lisa might just be her most intriguing character yet. I mean, who is she really? What's her deal? Is she helping Jerry, or is she just using him? You'll have to watch the show to find out. Or, you know, ask me. I might spill some secrets. Okay, I won't. But it's fun to pretend, right?

So there you have it, folks. The cast of The Tower, in all their quirky, ambitious, and slightly crazy glory. They're a motley crew, but together, they make this show one wild ride. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some towers to build. Or at least, some coffee to finish. Until next time!
