First Things First: What's an NHS Number?

Imagine your NHS number as your personal health passport. It's a unique 10-digit number that helps the NHS keep track of your medical history. It's like your health's very own secret agent, always on the job, even when you're not thinking about it.

Now, let's get our detective hats on and find yours!

Check Your Old Documents

Remember when you used to keep every piece of paper that crossed your path? Well, today's your lucky day! Start rummaging through those old documents - prescriptions, appointment letters, or even that hospital wristband you kept as a souvenir.

Your NHS number should be hiding in there somewhere, like a tiny, numeric Easter egg. And if you're feeling extra nostalgic, you might even stumble upon some old photos or notes that'll bring back a smile.

Ask Your GP or Dentist

If your paper trail has gone cold, don't worry! Your GP or dentist is like your health's fairy godmother - they've got all the magic numbers. Just give them a call or pop in for a quick chat.
