How I Murdered Mum And Dad

So, you know how sometimes you're just sitting there, minding your own business, and suddenly you think, "You know what this family needs? A good old-fashioned murder. Of the parents, I mean." No? Just me? Well, buckle up, friend, 'cause I've got a story to tell.

Meet the Cast

Alright, so we've got Mum, Dad, and yours truly. Now, Mum, she was a saint. Really, she was. But she had this... thing about tidying up after me. Every. Single. Time. I mean, I'm not a slob, but I'm also not a neat freak, you know? And Dad, well, he was your typical overbearing, "I know what's best for you" kind of guy. I mean, I love him, but come on!

Enter: The Plan

One day, it just hit me. I was going to "accidentally" kill them. I mean, not really, but you know what I mean. I was going to give them a little... nudge towards the great beyond. I know, I know, it's terrible. But hey, we've all had those thoughts, right?

So, I started planning. I was going to poison them. With... wait for it... caffeine. I know, I know, not your typical murder weapon. But hear me out. I figured, what if I just gave them a little too much of their favorite thing? Coffee, in their case. I mean, how could they resist?

Operation: Brew-Ha-Ha

I started small. A little extra scoop here, a little extra shot there. They loved it! They thought I was just being a thoughtful kid. Little did they know, I was slowly but surely upping their caffeine intake. I was like the world's most dangerous barista.

But then, something terrible happened. They started liking it. I mean, really liking it. They were drinking coffee like it was going out of style. I was supposed to be killing them, not turning them into coffee addicts!

Plan B: The Great Coffee Shop Caper

Alright, new plan. I was going to take them to the most expensive, most high-maintenance coffee shop I could find. The kind of place where they serve coffee in tiny cups and charge you an arm and a leg for it. I figured, if they were going to go down, they might as well do it in style.

So, off we went. Mum and Dad, all excited about their fancy coffee date. Me, trying not to look too excited about their impending doom. We get there, and it's just as pretentious as I hoped. The barista asks what they want, and I just hint, you know? "Oh, they'll have the biggest, strongest thing you've got."

They get their coffee, and they're loving it. They're talking about how great it is, how strong it is, how they've never tasted anything like it. And I'm just sitting there, thinking, "This is it. This is the end."

The Twist: Coffee Shop Confession

But then, something weird happened. The barista comes over, looks at their cups, and says, "You know, we actually brew our coffee with decaf beans. It's a health thing."

I nearly fell off my chair. Decaf? How was I supposed to kill them with decaf? I mean, sure, it might give them a little heartburn, but that's about it. I was furious. I'd been planning this for weeks, and it was all for nothing!

The Aftermath: A Newfound Respect

So, there you have it. I didn't murder Mum and Dad. I didn't even give them a good case of the jitters. Instead, I gave them a newfound respect for their local coffee shop and a fun story to tell at parties. And me? Well, I'm still here, still plotting. But maybe I'll stick to normal sibling pranks from now on. You know, just in case.
