How Old Is The Rapper Scarface

So, there I was, scrolling through my Spotify playlists the other day, and I stumbled upon one of my all-time favorites, Mr. Scarface. You know, the guy who's been spitting rhymes since before some of us could even spell them. It got me thinking, "How old is this legendary rapper, anyway?"

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Dude, it's not polite to ask a lady her age." But Scarface isn't a lady, and he's been in the game for so long, he's practically a public figure. Plus, I promise I'm not being nosy, just curious. So, let's dive in, shall we?

Brad Jordan, Born and Raised

Our man Scarface, born Brad Jordan, hails from the Southside of Houston, Texas. He was born on November 9, 1970, which makes him a Scorpio, if you're into that astrology stuff. Now, I know what you're thinking, "1970? That's like, ancient!" But hold your horses, we're getting there.

Brad grew up in the Cloverland area of Houston, which was known for its high crime rates and poverty. It was this environment that inspired his music and gave birth to the Geto Boys, the group that would eventually launch Scarface's solo career.

Rise to Fame

Scarface started his rap career in the late 80s, when he was just a teenager. He joined the Geto Boys in 1987, and they released their first album, Making Trouble, in 1990. But it was their 1991 album, The Geto Boys, that really put them on the map. Scarface's distinctive voice and raw, honest lyrics quickly made him a standout member of the group.

In 1991, Scarface released his first solo album, Mr. Scarface is Back. It was a hit, and it paved the way for his successful solo career. Since then, he's released over a dozen albums, collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, and even acted in a few movies. Not bad for a kid from the Southside of Houston, huh?

So, How Old Is He?

Alright, alright, you've been patient enough. As of 2021, Scarface is 50 years old. That's right, he's been in the game for over three decades. Can you believe it? I mean, I can't even remember what I was doing when I was 10, let alone 20 or 30.

But you know what? Age is just a number, right? Scarface's music is still as relevant and powerful as ever. He's a living legend, and his influence on hip-hop can't be overstated. So, here's to you, Scarface. Keep doing your thing, and thanks for the music.

And there you have it, folks. Scarface, the man, the myth, the legend. He's 50, and he's still going strong. Isn't that something? Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some old-school Scarface tunes to listen to. Until next time!
