How To Change Name On Trove

Ever played Trove and thought, "Man, I'd love to change my name, but how?" Well, you're not alone, buddy. Let's dive into this, shall we?

Why Change Your Name, You Ask?

Maybe you started with a name that was, let's say, less than epic. Or perhaps you've leveled up and want a name that reflects your newfound awesomeness. Maybe you just fancy a change. Whatever your reason, changing your name in Trove can be a breeze once you know how.

First Things First: The Name Change Token

Before we get started, you'll need a Name Change Token. You can get one of these from the Trove Store using real money, or you might find one in a Trove Box or as a reward for certain achievements. Once you've got one, it's time to get naming!

Let's Change That Name!

Alright, so you've got your Name Change Token ready. Now, let's head to the Character Customization screen. You can find this by clicking on your character's portrait in the top left corner of the game screen.

Once you're in the customization screen, look for the Name field. Click on it, and you'll see a little Change Name button pop up. Click that bad boy, and it's time to get creative!

Can I Change My Name in Trove? Easy Steps to Update It

Type in your new name, making sure it's within Trove's guidelines. No swearing, no inappropriate names, and no copyrighted material, please. Then, click Confirm and watch as your character sheds their old name like a snake shedding its skin. Well, not literally. That would be messy.

But Wait, There's More!

Here's a fun fact: You can change your name as many times as you want, as long as you've got Name Change Tokens. So, if you're feeling fickle, you can change your name as often as you change your socks. Just remember, each change costs a token, so use them wisely!

And there you have it, folks! Changing your name in Trove is as easy as pie. So, go forth, adventurer, and may your new name bring you luck, glory, and maybe even a few new friends.
