Meet Paul
Paul's from Zeta Reticuli, a star system 39 light-years away. He's got a big head, big eyes, and a tiny body. Oh, and he's got a thing for Earth girls. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, we're here to draw, not date!

Let's Start with the Head
Paul's head is his most distinctive feature. It's big, round, and takes up about 70% of his body height. Sketch a circle, then draw a line down the middle to divide it into two equal parts. This is your basic Paul head shape.
Eyes: The Windows to the Soul
Paul's eyes are huge, round, and black. They're also quite close together. Draw two large circles inside your head shape, leaving a small space between them. Then, draw a smaller circle inside each of those for the pupils.
Body: The Rest of Paul
Now that the head's done, let's tackle the body. Draw a small, oval-shaped body below the head. It should be about a third the size of the head. Then, add two tiny, stick-like arms and legs. Paul's not exactly Mr. Universe, is he?

Fine Tuning
Time to add some details. Draw a small, curved line at the bottom of the head for Paul's chin. Then, add a tiny, straight line across the body for his mouth. Don't forget the three-fingered hands and feet!
And... He's Alive!
Use your eraser to clean up any stray lines. If you want, you can add some color. Paul's usually depicted with gray skin, but feel free to get creative!

While you're drawing, why not listen to some Kraftwerk, Paul's favorite band? And if you're feeling hungry, he's got a soft spot for Earth girls... I mean, burgers!
