What Is Drew Carey Doing Now

So, you're wondering, "What's Drew Carey up to these days?" Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into the world of this comedic genius, and let me tell you, he's not just sitting around counting his 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' residuals (though I'm sure he's got a pretty penny stashed away).

Game Show Host Extraordinaire

First things first, Drew's still the face of The Price Is Right, the longest-running game show in television history. That's right, folks, he's been hosting the show since 2007, and he's still going strong. Can you imagine being that excited about giving away cars and appliances every day? I mean, I'd be over the moon if I got to give away a new toaster!

But Drew's not just about the glitz and glamour of game shows. He's also a passionate advocate for the show's contestants. He once shared a story about a contestant who was struggling with her game. Instead of moving on, Drew took the time to encourage her and help her get back in the game. Now that's what I call a class act!

Comedy and More Comedy

Remember 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' Well, Drew's still involved with the show, even though he stepped down as host in 2010. He's an executive producer now, which means he gets to sit back, relax, and watch other people make fools of themselves. Just kidding! It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it, right?

But Drew's not just about the laughs. He's also a bit of a history buff. He's been known to share some fascinating historical tidbits on his social media accounts. For instance, did you know that the first alarm clock could only ring at 4 a.m.? I know, right? Who decided that was a good idea?

A Man of Many Talents

Now, here's where things get really interesting. Drew's also a bit of a political junkie. He's been known to share his thoughts on politics on his Twitter account. But here's the thing, he's not your typical celebrity who just spouts off without knowing what they're talking about. No, Drew actually knows his stuff. He's even hosted a political talk show called 'The Drew Carey Show' (no, not the sitcom).

Drew Carey Says He’s Lost 1,000 Lbs. Over the Years

And if that wasn't enough, Drew's also a bit of a philanthropist. He's been known to support various charities, including those that help veterans and their families. He even donated a portion of his salary from 'The Price Is Right' to support these causes. Now that's what I call a stand-up guy!

So, Why Should You Care?

Alright, so maybe you're not a big fan of game shows or politics. Maybe you're just here for the laughs. Well, here's why you should care about what Drew Carey's up to: he's a guy who's managed to stay relevant and interesting for over three decades. He's not just a comedian; he's a historian, a political commentator, a philanthropist, and a game show host extraordinaire.

He's the kind of guy who can make you laugh until your sides ache, and then turn around and make you think about the world in a different way. He's proof that you don't have to be just one thing in life. You can be a little bit of everything, and that's what makes life interesting.

So, the next time you're flipping through the channels and you see Drew Carey on 'The Price Is Right', remember, that's not just some guy giving away cars. That's a man who's seen and done it all, and he's still going strong. And that, my friends, is something worth caring about.
