Cast Of Only Fools And Horses Who Have Died

Alright, gather 'round, dear reader. Today, we're not here to dwell on the sad stuff, but to celebrate the lives of some brilliant folks who brought us laughter through Only Fools and Horses. So, let's raise a glass of the finest champagne (well, maybe not, but you get the idea) to these legends who've left us with some unforgettable memories.

Meet the Chaps Who've Taken Their Final Bow

First up, we have Len Warren, the beloved Grandad, played by the wonderful Lennard Pearce. Lennard passed away in 1984, just a year after the show began. But what a year it was! He left us with some classic moments, like his 'dodgy' dealings and that iconic line, "You can't have a kip here, it's a building site!"

Next, we have Uncle Albert, played by the one and only Buster Merryfield. Buster joined the cast in 1985 and quickly became a fan favorite with his 'memories' and that catchy theme tune. He passed away in 1999, but his legacy lives on every time we hear, "You know, it was... it was... it was... it was..."

And the Ladies Who Stole the Show

Now, let's not forget our leading ladies. Bet Lynch, the iconic barmaid, was played by the fabulous Linda Robson. Linda left the show in 1991 and sadly passed away in 2009. But her spirit lives on in every perm, every laugh, and every 'my arse!'

And who could forget Raquel, the love interest of our very own Del Boy? Played by the talented Tessa Peake-Jones, Raquel was a breath of fresh air in the Trotters' chaotic world. Tessa left the show in 1991 and, thankfully, she's still with us today, continuing to delight us on our screens.

Remembering the Good Times

So there you have it, folks. A little trip down memory lane, remembering some of the brilliant cast members who've left us. But remember, they're not really gone. Every time we watch an episode, every time we laugh at Del's latest scheme, every time we cringe at Rodney's 'boyfriends', they're right there with us.

So, let's raise a glass (of something non-alcoholic, perhaps) to Lennard, Buster, Linda, and Tessa. Thank you for the laughs, the memories, and for reminding us that, even in the face of adversity, we can always find something to chuckle about.

And as Del would say, "You know it makes sense." So, go on, give Only Fools and Horses another watch. Laugh, reminisce, and remember the good times. Because, after all, life's too short not to enjoy a good laugh, isn't it?
