First things first: Watching from your cozy nest

Alright, so you've decided to watch the marathon from the comfort of your own home. Smart choice, my friend! The Chicago Marathon has got you covered with their official live stream. Just head over to their website, and you're all set. Kick back, relax, and enjoy the show!

But wait, what if you're not in the mood for a solo viewing party? No worries! The marathon usually partners with local TV stations, so you might be able to catch it on your good ol' TV. Just check your local listings to be sure.

Can't miss moments: The elite start and finish line

Now, you don't wanna miss the elite runners taking off, do you? The elite start is always a thrilling sight. And let's not forget the grand finish! It's like the cherry on top of this marathon sundae. So, mark those times on your calendar and make sure you're glued to your screen.

Cheering from the course: The real deal

On the other hand, if you're feeling adventurous and want to be part of the action, hitting the course is the way to go. First things first, dress in layers. Chicago weather can be as unpredictable as a toddler on a sugar high. One minute it's sunny, the next it's raining cats and dogs!

Now, let's talk strategy. The best spots to catch the runners are usually around the start and finish lines, or at the halfway point. But if you want to avoid the crowds, try finding a spot along the course that's not as popular. Trust me, the runners will appreciate your support just as much!

Got kids? Bring 'em along!

Kids love the marathon too, you know! It's like a real-life parade, with superheroes (aka runners) zooming by. Plus, they'll love cheering and high-fiving the runners. Just make sure to keep an eye on them and stay safe.
