Judicial Review: A Closer Look

Now, you might be wondering, "What's this judicial review all about?" In simple terms, it's like a legal check-up to ensure Access Croydon is sticking to the rules and doing a good job. The High Court recently gave the project a thumbs-up, confirming it's on the right track to improve Croydon's accessibility.

This review was all about making sure Access Croydon is following the law, especially the Public Sector Equality Duty. This legal obligation ensures public authorities, like Croydon Council, promote equality and foster good community relations. So, in essence, the judicial review was a pat on the back for Access Croydon, saying, "Keep up the good work!"
