Who Is Larry Lamb On Gogglebox With

Alright, gather 'round, folks. I've got a tale to tell about a man, a telly, and a whole lot of laughter. You might've seen him on your screens, chortling away at the weird and wonderful world of TV. I'm talking about none other than Larry Lamb, the king of Gogglebox!

Who's Larry Lamb, you ask?

Well, buckle up, because we're about to dive into the fascinating world of this telly-loving gent. Born in 1947, Larry's a Londoner through and through. He's been around the block a few times, with a career spanning over five decades. You might remember him from the likes of EastEnders, where he played the lovable rogue, Archie Mitchell, or perhaps you caught him in Gavin & Stacey as the hilarious Mick Shipman.

But enough about his past glories, let's get to the real reason we're here - Gogglebox!

Gogglebox: The telly that watches telly

For those of you who've been living under a rock (or perhaps you're just not into reality TV - no judgment here), Gogglebox is a show where regular folks sit around watching telly, reacting to it, and giving their unfiltered opinions. It's like having a chat with your mates about the latest episode of your favorite show, but with the added bonus of being on national TV.

Larry, along with his son Jack, has been a staple on the show since it began in 2013. They're like the original Goggleboxers, the ones who started it all. And let me tell you, they're a hoot!

Larry Lamb: The master of reactions

Larry's reactions are what make Gogglebox the joyous chaos that it is. He's not afraid to let his emotions run wild, whether he's laughing until he's crying, gasping in shock, or rolling his eyes so hard you'd think he was auditioning for a part in an old silent film.

And the best part? He's not afraid to speak his mind. He'll tell it like it is, whether you want to hear it or not. It's like having your granddad sat next to you, offering his wisdom (and perhaps a few choice words) on the state of the nation.

Larry Lamb: The man behind the telly

But Larry's not just a funny face on the telly. He's a family man, a grandfather, and a bit of a legend in the world of British comedy. He's been married to his wife, Tessa, for over 40 years, which is practically a lifetime in showbiz. And he's got a whole brood of kids and grandkids, who I'm sure are just as thrilled to have him on their screens every week as we are.

He's also a bit of a history buff, with a particular interest in the Second World War. He's even written a book about it, called The War Out Here. So, you know, when he's not busy laughing at the latest episode of Love Island, he's got his nose in a history book. Who knew?

Larry Lamb: The Gogglebox legend

So there you have it, folks. Larry Lamb, the man behind the telly, the king of Gogglebox, the master of reactions. He's a national treasure, a comedy genius, and a bloody lovely bloke to boot. And if you ever find yourself feeling down, just remember - Larry Lamb is out there, laughing his socks off at something on the telly. And that, my friends, is enough to make the world a brighter place.

Until next time, keep laughing, keep watching, and remember - it's always telly o'clock somewhere.
