A leading independent user experience consultancy has scored a hat trick after scooping three top accolades at the inaugural Gulf Customer Experience Awards in Dubai.

User Vision, which is headquartered in Edinburgh and has offices in London and Dubai, specialises in delivering usability, UX and accessibility services to a broad range of international clients, including Salesforce, Standard Life, Visit Scotland and Jumeirah.

On the evening of the awards, the User Vision team walked away with Best Application, awarded to them in partnership Emirates Airlines, and Best Digital Agency/Digital Pioneer.

The team was also shortlisted by the judges for the most prestigious award of the evening, Best Overall Digital Experience, in which they beat competitors such as Commercial Bank of Dubai to the top spot.

Chris Rourke, founder and CEO at User Vision, said:

“We are delighted to be recognised for our work in providing UX services from our Dubai office. Since opening our office there in 2008, we have watched the market grow and been instrumental in educating the benefits of embedding UX and a true customer focus into every touchpoint our clients have. We’ve been very lucky to be part of this evolutionary process. We greatly look forward to future challenges that come our way as the market and technologies continue to develop.”

Best Application was awarded to User Vision and Emirates Airline following a strong 10-year relationship, which has seen User Vision work alongside Emirates digital and ecommerce teams to ensure its online booking process and overall user journey is in line with the airline’s core values of quality and good service.

User Vision was awarded Best Digital Agency for its pioneering role in raising awareness of the importance of user experience through seminars and training courses, as well as delivering cutting edge usability, UX and accessibility services across the Gulf.

The awards success follows a strong year for the business, which has seen several major client wins, including Dubai Holdings and Al Jazeera. The consultancy has also developed its products and services on offer by welcoming several new employees with key skill sets, such as service designers, accessibility specialists and psychologists, to their 15 strong team.

For the year ahead, User Vision intends to keep moving upwards in its growth trajectory; with plans to expand its team and its client base, both locally and internationally, in the pipeline.
