Workspace Group has won gold in the “Customers at the Heart of Everything—SME” category at the UK Customer Experience Awards 2024. The win shows the company’s dedication to putting customer experience at the centre of its operations, particularly through its initiative, Putting Customer Experience at the Heart of Our Centre Teams.

The project was designed to improve customer engagement by refocusing centre managers on building emotional connections with their customers, London’s vibrant small and medium enterprises (SMEs). By conducting detailed time and motion studies, the Workspace team identified tasks that diverted managers from their primary role, which fostered further meaningful relationships.

This facilitated non-core tasks, freeing up 9,004 hours annually for customer interactions. In addition, this shift enabled managers to dedicate more time to understanding customers’ needs and supporting their business growth.

Workspace Group’s entry and approach have shown that customer-led growth is a strategic priority for the company.
