Kaizen Ticketing has secured a gold win in the Best Use of Technology category at the UK Customer Experience Awards 2024 in London.

Founded by former semi-professional footballer and ticketing expert David Lynam, Kaizen Ticketing has revolutionised the ticketing process for over 100 non-league football clubs across the UK, providing an innovative digital solution that replaces traditional paper tickets.

As smaller clubs face increasing financial challenges, Kaizen’s platform offers a cost-effective way to boost revenue while enhancing the fan experience.

With features that allow clubs to manage ticketing, analyse performance, and run their box office remotely, Kaizen goes beyond basic functionality. It enables clubs to cross-sell products, accept online donations, and even offer payment by instalments through Klarna—a first in sports ticketing. This has helped raise £72,000 for charities, community projects, and stadium improvements while making ticket purchases easier for fans.

The platform’s impact has been profound, including a record-breaking 2,000 tickets sold in just 90 seconds for Horsham’s 1st Round FA Cup match in 2023—something previously impossible without digital ticketing. It also saved clubs over 63 hours of admin time, £36,000 in postage costs, and reduced CO2 emissions by 1.26 tonnes.

In 2023 alone, Kaizen’s platform generated over 11 million page views, with 1.2 million fans interacting and £12.2 million in sales. Their innovative approach has not only attracted non-league clubs but has also seen five Football League clubs join their platform, delivering exceptional results and exceeding growth targets.
