Sigma Connected has secured £100,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, supporting the hospital’s mission to provide care to hundreds of thousands of sick children nationwide each year.
Since beginning their support in 2017, Sigma Connected has joined the hospital’s “Changemakers.” This is a select group of businesses whose fundraising efforts contribute to acquiring medical equipment and creating welcoming, child-friendly spaces that make the hospital less intimidating for young patients.
“As a business, we’ve grown significantly in the past decade, employing over 5,000 people across the UK and in South Africa, and although our staff are nationwide, many of our colleagues are based in Birmingham. To reach £100,000 is wonderful but we have big plans for 2025 and aim to raise even more to help the management team continued to transform every aspect of the hospital,” said Mike Harfield, co-founder and chief operating officer at Sigma Connected Group.
Helen Miles, head of partnerships at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, praised Sigma Connected’s commitment. “The generosity and ongoing support from Sigma Connected truly move us. She highlighted the importance of partnerships like this, which go beyond financial contributions to actively engage in events and support for the children and their families. “We’re excited to see what the future holds with Sigma Connected’s continued involvement.”
