Healthcare analytics solutions provider Press Ganey has revealed a suite of advanced AI capabilities designed to tackle some of healthcare’s most pressing challenges, from patient safety to employee engagement. The company has recently published a report that sheds light on the state of health plan member experiences and gaps that hinder satisfaction and loyalty.

Leveraging a dataset that includes 5.5 billion patient encounters and insights from 2.2 million healthcare workers, the tools offer healthcare leaders exceptional precision in anticipating risks and improving outcomes.

The enhanced AI features are built into Press Ganey’s HX Platform and combine cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning, generative language models, and natural language processing. Designed specifically for healthcare, the tools help leaders across safety, nursing, HR, and patient experience management make data-driven decisions with greater speed and accuracy.

“AI has the potential to revolutionise healthcare by providing leaders with the tools to predict and address challenges before they arise. With these expanded capabilities, Press Ganey AI ensures that organisations can act with confidence, leveraging technology that prioritises safety, accuracy, and equity to improve outcomes for patients and employees alike,” said Darren Dworkin, president and chief operating officer of Press Ganey.

One of the tools, AI Summarise, analyses vast amounts of feedback from surveys, patient portals, and online reviews in moments, enabling real-time insights into clinical performance, while AI Compose generates context-aware responses to patient feedback and enriches surveys with dynamic follow-up questions. Further, AI Recommend uses predictive analytics to identify risks, offering actionable plans to address safety concerns and employee retention challenges.

These advancements are part of Press Ganey’s $500 million, five-year investment in generative AI and advanced technology.
