CRM vendor Pipedrive has introduced a new AI vision featuring a network of digital agents designed to assist sales teams around the clock. The AI agents aim to streamline various aspects of the sales process while allowing sales professionals to maintain control over their tasks.
These voice- and text-enabled agents can handle routine tasks, facilitate communication, and provide real-time insights tailored to each customer’s context. Pipedrive’s agentic ecosystem includes general and specialised agents that learn from feedback and adapt their actions to improve outcomes.
The pilot AI agentic experience allows users to automate email content creation, summarise past interactions, and highlight important communications, ensuring that sales teams can focus on high-priority leads and opportunities. The agentic AI experience is currently in beta and available to a limited number of customers.
Dominic Allon, CEO of Pipedrive, said: “We’re at a turning point, witnessing a pivotal moment in technology – one where AI is no longer a distant concept but a tangible, accessible superpower integrated into everyday tools. Our new vision, centered around the agentic AI experience, marks a new era of innovation creating a more intuitive and dynamic way for professionals to engage with technology. Going forward, salespeople and AI agents will work as co-pilots, allowing teams to focus on building relationships, closing deals and achieving their boldest goals.”
Plans for the year ahead
Pipedrive plans to roll out additional features in 2025 to enhance the agentic experience further, aimed at improving efficiency and simplifying workflows for sales professionals. This development builds on the existing Pipedrive AI suite, which includes tools powered by OpenAI and the upcoming enhancements to Pipedrive Pulse, an AI-driven solution currently in closed beta.
The company emphasises its commitment to privacy and security, stating that it does not allow third parties to use client data for training or improving its AI models without explicit consent.
