Cisco has partnered with Mistral AI to introduce the AI Renewals Agent, designed to revolutionise the renewal proposal process by intelligently integrating insights from over 50 data sources. This AI-powered system consolidates structured and unstructured data, performs real-time sentiment analysis, and offers tailored recommendations—improving automation, personalization, and overall customer engagement.

“The AI Renewals Agent is an important milestone and the first of many innovative solutions that we’re going to build together. The impact on our teams is also significant as we continue to look at opportunities to simplify and reduce friction in their jobs. By combining our large data set, customer trust and Mistral’s industry-leading technology, we are on our way towards shaping the future of customer and employee engagement,” said Liz Centoni, Executive Vice President and chief customer experience Officer, Cisco.

The AI Renewals Agent enables teams to focus on strategic initiatives and deeper customer relationships by automating repetitive tasks and optimising key workflows. The system accelerates the preparation of renewal proposals and ensures that every customer interaction is more meaningful and data-driven.

“This announcement marks another significant milestone in our strategic partnership with Cisco. It demonstrates how GenAI can enhance access to rich and complex information sources, deliver critical value to Cisco’s customers and ecosystem, and save considerable time for all stakeholders involved,” said Arthur Mensch, CEO, Mistral AI.

Operating within an on-premises infrastructure, the AI model guarantees stringent data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance while enabling Cisco to fine-tune performance and manage costs effectively. According to estimates, the AI Renewals Agent can reduce the time required to create a renewal proposal and prepare for customer meetings by up to 20%, with further efficiency gains expected as the system evolves and automates additional workflows.
