2020 has been an unprecedented year to say the least. Businesses faced difficulties, challenges, some even shut down while others struggled to stay afloat.
Over the last 12 months, the sector upon sector had to scramble not only to maintain the level of service they provided earlier but also to meet the ever-faster changing customer needs and expectations. All of this in the middle of a global crisis.
With number of restrictions imposed due to the crisis, this year has seen the rise of virtual events.
To be able to continue the work of recognising and rewarding excellence, Awards International moved to a fully LIVE Online platform for their events.
Awards International pioneered the online awards experience and hosted 10 LIVE Online events using unique software to deliver as closest in-person atmosphere as possible. The feedback of the participants was incredible – almost all said they were impressed by the organisation and the ambience that an online event was able to convey.
The first live online event hosted by Awards International was the South East Europe CX Awards that took place in May this year. Following its notable success, UK Business Awards, UK Digital Experience Awards and UK Customer Experience Awards were just some of the events that enjoyed even greater participants’ satisfaction.
During 2020, the organization raised almost £8,000 for Barnardo’s in their mission to help vulnerable children throughout the UK. The importance that Christmas has for many is the opportunity to make this time of year better for those in need.
To mark the season of giving, Awards International will be donating £1 towards Barnado’s ‘Kidsmas’ campaign for each like on this Linkedin post until the target of £1,000 is reached.
There is also a possibility of donating directly by throwing virtual snowballs at Awards International’s snowman Goldie, with all proceeds going toward helping children at risk of abuse.
