InMoment has introduced a new Location Performance Scoring system to help brands turn reputation management into measurable business impact. The system includes an Industry Score, which ties Google Profile views to revenue generation, and a Target Score, allowing businesses to track location performance based on their unique strategic priorities.

By analysing over 60,000 Google Business Profiles across 13 sectors, InMoment has built an industry-specific metric that goes beyond simple star ratings. Factors like review volume, business images, and other key indicators give marketing teams a clearer picture of their brand’s online presence. The Target Score, on the other hand, offers a customisable approach, letting companies prioritise the metrics that align with their goals.

Maximum ROI with data-driven insights

Unlike standard reputation management tools, InMoment designed its system with ROI in mind. The company’s research identifies the specific elements that drive Google Profile views, helping brands make targeted decisions that increase location visits. The tool also provides a transparent breakdown of its contributing metrics, eliminating the guesswork from performance tracking.

Sarah Speigle, director of product and reputation management at InMoment, said: “Our mission is to empower businesses to leverage customer feedback to act today and predict tomorrow. In line with this, the new Location Performance Scoring system will help our customers better understand not only what they are doing well and where they can improve versus industry benchmarks, but also set their own custom scoring system to improve their individual location performance as it relates to their own company goals and standards. This dual approach helps promote actionability and correlates metrics and actions directly to revenue drivers.”

Early adopters are already seeing results, one of which is the Australian frozen yoghurt brand Yo-Chi, which saw a 123% surge in Google Profile impressions, a 92% increase in navigation clicks, and a 1329% boost in review responses within a year after implementing InMoment’s Reputation Management solution.

Both the Industry Score and Target Score are now available through InMoment’s Reputation Management platform. The company previously announced AI-powered Active Listening Agents, an upgrade to its Active Listening tool that uses contextually aware generative AI (GenAI) to prompt customers with thoughtful follow-up questions, encouraging richer and more detailed responses.
