The Overall Winner at this year’s Gulf Customer Experience Awards has spoken of its goals regarding hiring the very best talent in the region – and keeping them engaged as valued employees.

The National Bank of Fujairah secured Gold category wins for Employee Engagement and Happiness and Employee Insight and HR Metrics, while also winning the Silver award in the Employee Empowerment category.

Following the ceremony, which took place in Dubai last month, NBF went on to be recognised at the Tawdheef 2019 career event, where it won the Best Emiratisation Initiative of the Year award.

Abdulla Aleter, Head of Human Resources at NBF said: “We are very thrilled to be maintaining a strong presence at the Gulf Customer Experience Awards as well as standing out at Tawdheef 2019 Abu Dhabi career fair. One of our key focus areas is attracting and retaining the best talent in the market while ensuring a healthy mix exists across the bank. As such, diversity and inclusion have become guiding principles in our HR strategy in an aim to elevate the bank’s competitiveness by building a working environment that encourages the participation and contribution of all employees.”

At the previous year’s Gulf Customer Experience Awards, NBF won the Overall Employee Experience Award thanks to the bank’s determination to place employees – as well as customers – at the heart of the organisation.
