Citizens and students may soon find their online interactions with government agencies and academic institutions feeling a little less frustrating, thanks to a new partnership between AI firm Quiq and IT solutions provider Carahsoft.
Under the deal, Carahsoft will distribute Quiq’s AI-powered contact centre and agentic AI solutions across the public sector, making them available through major procurement contracts, including NASA’s SEWP V and NASPO ValuePoint. The goal is to streamline digital interactions, speed up response times, and improve service experiences across web chat, SMS, and messaging apps like WhatsApp and Apple Messages.

Quiq, originally known for its messaging platform, has evolved into an AI-driven powerhouse, offering solutions that blend large language models, generative AI, and agentic AI while focusing on security and compliance. With Carahsoft’s reach, these AI-driven enhancements could soon assist citizens with everything from tax inquiries to university admissions.
