EDAM were among winners at the 2018 UK Customer Experience Awards, securing a Gold title at the event in Wembley Stadium.

The post-accident services umbrella group was nominated in the Best Customer Experience Training – Programme/Project category and representatives gave a presentation to judges focussing on the firm’s Project Phoenix – a “fast-paced, high-impact learning and development initiative to support Edam’s Personal Injury Conversion team in its goal of delivering real change in the way the business serves its customers”.

An Edam spokesperson explained: “The overarching objective behind Project Phoenix was to hone a commitment to customer service within EDAM Group; in particular, within the Personal InjuryConversion team. Some issues had been identified in the way the team operated, so it was a chance for the business to dismantle the operation of the division and rebuild it with a focus on improved customer interaction at every step along the way.”

Meanwhile, the category’s Silver award went to RBS, while bronze was awarded to Vodafone UK.
