Catering suppliers Bidfood not only help satisfy hunger all over the UK, their CX offering satisfied judges at the 2017 UK Customer Experience Awards.
The firm drove off with the Transport and Logistics Award, racing ahead of fellow category finalists Hiab Ltd and JustPark.
At presentation stage, the Bidfood team outlined how the firm is “serious about service and step-changing the Customer Experience”, before being presented with the trophy later that evening during the award ceremony.
Once the dust settled on an amazing event, Bidfood’s Head of Insight and Customer Experience, Sarah Whiddett, told CXM she and colleagues were “delighted” at their success, and explained how their CX strategy landed them an award.
“We started on our journey two years ago when we set out our mission to deliver service excellence, make life easier for customers, and help them to grow, inspired by our desire to provide the best Customer Experience in our industry,” she said.
“The journey has meant transforming ourselves from the inside out, and has taken us through business, structure, and cultural change, touching every individual in our business.
Researching our customers, training our teams, tracking our service KPIs, and tailoring our proposition more closely to directly reflect customer needs has all paid real dividends.
We’ve been delighted to see the difference that this focus has made on our service KPIs, customer satisfaction and retention, on employee engagement, and our profit, financial and new business targets.”
Sarah added: “Winning this award means a lot to the teams who are both customer facing and behind the scenes who have worked hard to deliver service excellence and is a fantastic achievement for our business.”
