Amazon has launched Export Central, a tool aimed to provide customers in 39 European nations with a broader selection of products.
Sellers that use Amazon’s Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN) can now offer their products abroad, allowing buyers in countries without an Amazon shop, such as Austria, Portugal, and Greece, to purchase previously unattainable items.
“Sellers can now seamlessly list and ship their products across Europe with ease. Our programme eliminates many of the traditional barriers to international expansion, allowing entrepreneurs to focus on what they do best – creating and selling amazing products,” said Xavier Flamand, Amazon’s VP of Seller Services, Europe.
Export Central is part of Amazon’s European Export Programme, which provides access to products from six major Amazon stores: the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. Customers can explore and purchase from a larger product variety without merchants having to duplicate listings or create new accounts.
Customers will have access to a greater range of products supplied straight from European retailers. Amazon has made it easier for sellers to offer competitive shipping costs and delivery times via Export Central, so customers in non-Amazon nations will receive a comparable level of service.
In addition, customers benefit from having more things available, as well as consistent and reliable delivery at no additional expense.
