Cisco has unveiled new AI-driven tools aimed at transforming employee experiences and streamlining more intelligent and connected workplaces. With innovations like Cisco Spatial Meetings, the Ceiling Microphone Pro, and expanded Webex AI Assistant capabilities, Cisco aims to make collaboration easier and more inclusive, regardless of where employees work.

“With AI baked into every part of Cisco’s product portfolio, we’re helping organizations future-proof their workspaces with solutions ready for the next generation of how and where people work. We’re providing our customers with intelligent, adaptable, and easy-to-manage technology that enhances experiences for their employees and customers,” said Jeetu Patel, executive vice president and chief product officer at Cisco.

To bridge distances in remote and hybrid work, Cisco has unveiled the concept of Distance Zero—a vision where all meeting participants feel present, whether on-site or remote. Cisco Spatial Meetings, for example, leverages the Room Bar Pro and Apple Vision Pro to create immersive meeting environments. This enables employees to conduct realistic product demos, remote training, and more in stunning spatial video, creating a sense of presence across locations.

In addition, the new Ceiling Microphone Pro adapts to speaker positions and changing room layouts, capturing natural conversations with improved clarity. Its integration with Cisco’s cameras and room systems means users can expect seamless, immersive audio experiences with minimal setup time.

In response to evolving IT demands, Cisco has also launched several tools to help IT teams design, monitor, and manage hybrid workspaces. Workspace Designer facilitates workspace customisation by providing 3D views of audio and video coverage, while Smart Diagnostics in Control Hub enables real-time troubleshooting for meeting spaces. With ThousandEyes integration for desk phones and Webex Calling, IT teams can detect and address connectivity issues faster, enhancing reliability.

Moreover, Cisco’s AI Assistant supports productivity by automating workflows through integrations with platforms like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Zendesk. Users can select from large language models, such as Amazon Bedrock, for added flexibility and easily share recaps across platforms like Outlook, Teams, and Slack.
