Frontier Airlines has announced upgrades as part of the second phase of its customer-focused initiative, The New Frontier. These improvements include first-class seating, complimentary seat upgrades for elite members, and expanded options for redeeming loyalty miles.

“We’ve listened to customers, and they want more premium options, like first-class seating, attainable seat upgrades, more free travel for their companions, and the ability to use miles on more than just airfare. These changes represent an exciting new chapter in our transformation into The New Frontier,” said Barry Biffle, CEO, Frontier Airlines.

Frontier Airlines is rolling out exciting premium features in 2025 to enhance comfort and value for travellers. The airline will introduce spacious first-class seating in the first two rows late in the year, offering a luxurious upgrade.

Starting early 2025, Elite Gold members and above can enjoy complimentary seat upgrades, including first-class options, on every flight.

Additionally, Platinum and Diamond Elite members will gain even more perks in mid-2025, including free companion travel on any Frontier flight. Moreover, Frontier Miles will become more versatile, allowing members to redeem points for baggage fees, seating upgrades, and other travel expenses.

These updates reflect Frontier’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences while remaining affordable.

Frontier Miles, the airline’s free-to-join loyalty program, offers members 10 miles for every dollar spent. Members can achieve one of four status tiers: Silver (10,000 miles), Gold (20,000 miles), Platinum (50,000 miles), and Diamond (100,000 miles), with benefits scaling at each level.

These upgrades reflect Frontier’s focus on redefining budget airline travel by providing premium options and more value to its customers. With these changes, the airline aims to become the most rewarding carrier in the skies, making travel more comfortable and accessible.
