Reality Defender has partnered with TaskUs to strengthen defences against AI-generated fraud and harmful content. This partnership will help TaskUs teams improve platform security and operational integrity.
Reality Defender’s detection technology will integrate directly into TaskUs content moderation workflows via a Chrome browser extension. This collaboration ensures content moderators can quickly identify and flag malicious AI-generated images, videos, and audio, protecting online communities from disinformation and fraud.
Moreover, TaskUs will incorporate Reality Defender’s audio deepfake detection tools into contact centre operations, allowing for faster identification of AI-generated voice fraud and bolstering identity verification processes.
“In working with TaskUs, we’re combining Reality Defender’s advanced AI detection capabilities with their world-class content moderation and contact center operations to create a robust defense against deepfake fraud. This partnership represents a significant step forward in our mission to secure digital communications and maintain trust in an increasingly AI-driven world,” said Ben Colman, co-founder and CEO of Reality Defender.
Deepfakes have become a big issue for businesses and social platforms. With 40% of U.S. users reducing their engagement with platforms due to deepfakes, the demand for effective solutions is higher than ever.
“This collaboration strengthens our ability to protect our clients and their customers from sophisticated AI-enabled fraud and harmful content while maintaining efficient operations,” said Phil Tomlinson, SVP of Global Offerings at TaskUs.
Voice cloning technology poses particular risks for contact centres, where fraud losses have reached $25 billion annually. Reality Defender’s tools help prevent these attacks by detecting AI-generated audio, giving businesses a critical advantage in safeguarding their operations.
