The UK Business Awards 2023, aka The Dons, organised by Awards International, announced the winners for this year’s programme! Top companies and organisations across the UK participated in this premium business event, competing for the most coveted accolades in business excellence.
Build up to the awards
Before the Awards Ceremony, the guests could attend the build-up to the awards featuring ‘Doing Business Now’conference & networking session. Here, they listened to Danny Wareham and Fatima Nahimana’s talks and asked them live questions.
Then, Fatima was joined by Dave Stubberfield and Neil Appleton for the panel discussion, ‘Resilience and Responsiveness: Business Strategies in a Cost of Living Crisis’. The panelists discussed pressing topics from the business world, and lead a truly insightful conversation with the audience. Thanks to the host of the conference, James Elliott, everything went smoothly.
Winners announcement!
UKBATM ’23 Awards Ceremony was held live in person on December 7, in London, for the first time after four years. Renaldo De Souza, founder and host of CX Sells Podcast, skillfully navigated the guests as the ceremony host. Not only did he help them feel relaxed and comfortable to enjoy the winners’ announcement, but really engaged and livened up the atmosphere of the room!
Integrity Cleaning CEO, Luke Murfitt, enriched the programme with his keynote speech “Boxes”. He was left with a standing ovation, and many teary eyes.
Some of the winners include Greater Manchester Police in partnership with HCL Technologies UK, Lightsource bp, New Bond Street Pawnbrokers in partnership with Pufferr, ServiceMaster AAA, Beyondly and Pharmahouse. You can find out more about all the recipients of this year’s awards here.
Once all the winners were announced, it was time for the most exciting moment of the entire programme – announcing the Overall Winner. The title of the best – the company with the highest score – went to Octopus Energy.
