Our partners at Awards International are delighted to officially announce the beginning of the UK Business Awards (UKBA) for 2024! This prestigious awards programme honours and celebrates the inspiring efforts of micro, small, medium and large organisations in business excellence and gives them a unique opportunity to get industry recognition for their hard work and noteworthy results.

As of May 13th, the new edition of the UKBA programme is officially accepting entries. If you are a UK business that has excelled in their practices over the last year, you are invited to showcase your achievements, submit your applications, and compete for the most coveted accolades in the business world, and earn a place in the Hall of Fame.

Get involved in this year’s excitement!

With the main theme for these awards being ‘Ignite Your Business Growth’, the entire campaign will be focused on this and how to execute it successfully. There’s plenty to be excited for and get involved to celebrate this mantra and get ready for business recognition in this prestigious programme.

Firstly, we’re delighted to announce the awards programme’s official partners, MK:U and and Cranfield University.

MK:U is an innovative higher education institution in Milton Keynes focused on building skills for the digital and tech economy. Backed by Cranfield University, it offers degree apprenticeships in technology and management; and its Innovation Hub is a central point of support and collaboration for innovators and entrepreneurs, bringing together over 800 small businesses from across the region to help grow the ideas of the future. As a specialist postgraduate university, Cranfield’s world-class expertise, large-scale facilities and unrivalled industry partnerships provide an exceptional learning environment, developing global leaders.

Alongside this exciting partnership, Awards International is launching a brand new video interview series to coincide with their awards programmes. The first episode will feature Andy Alderson – the newly appointed UKBA chairman. He will talk all about who he is, his place in the awards, and how they have excelled his business practices.

Later episodes will see stars including Professor Lynette Ryals OBE (CEO), Kristian Mackie (Innovation Hub Manager), and Dr Ruth Massie (Director of Education). Tune in to listen to some top perspectives on maximising the value of your business, MK:U’s vision for closing the digital skills gap, the benefits of apprenticeships, and more.
