Business management software provider Access Group has announced its acquisition of US-based Paytronix, a guest engagement platform for restaurants and convenience stores. This marks one of the company’s most significant acquisitions in over 30 years and its commitment to expanding its presence in the United States.
Founded in 2001, Paytronix offers a comprehensive guest engagement platform with capabilities such as online ordering, loyalty programs, omnichannel messaging, mobile apps, gift cards, and third-party marketplace management. The platform leverages transaction data to create personalised marketing campaigns that drive customer interaction and spending. Serving over 50,000 locations across 1,800 brands, including Panera, Qdoba, and Five Guys, Paytronix boasts over 500 partnerships with prominent names like Google, Apple Pay, and UberEats.
Under the acquisition, Paytronix will retain its name while integrating with Access Group’s suite of products to enhance the customer experience. The Access Group’s extensive experience in the hospitality sector, with offerings like ResDiary and QikServe, complements Paytronix’s digital engagement solutions, creating a unified platform for businesses to improve guest interactions and streamline operations.
Access’s president of Americas, Jonah Paransky, said: “This is the next step in our exciting US story – doubling our team in North America to over 450 and giving us a broader reach into hospitality and retail businesses to help further our aim of offering the most comprehensive and adaptable platform to enhance guest experiences and profitability.”
Access Group aims to accelerate Paytronix’s growth, expand its reach in North America, and offer a broader range of solutions to the hospitality and retail sectors. With this acquisition, Access Group is poised to strengthen its position as a global leader in software solutions, enhancing both profitability and customer experience for its clients across the hospitality and convenience store industries.
