Customer Experience Magazine is pleased to announce the formation of its first Editorial Advisory Board (EAB). The EAB is formed to support the editorial team in preparing the 2023 CXM Review coverage.
We plan to expand the editorial advisory board’s roles and responsibilities in line with our publishing needs in the following months and years. For now, we are pleased to introduce you to experts who provide our editorial team with insights needed to maintain the highest content quality.
Roles and responsibilities of the editorial advisory board
The Editorial Advisory Board will be responsible for providing directions of this year’s publication and ensuring we cover topic of our readers’ interest. We will rely on their expertise, and long experience of working in the industry. The main direction of the magazine, general themes, and selection of contributors will be conducted by the Lead editor.
Here are the main responsibilities expected from the board members:
- Review shared documents and provide feedback.
- Assist editors’ in decision-making.
- Identify topics important for annual magazine issue.
- Help the visibility of the CXM Review.
Meet the EAB members
Ginger Conlon, Thought Leader at Genesys
An award-winning editorial leader who has covered CX and marketing for the majority of her career, Ginger Conlon is currently thought leadership director at Genesys and co-host of its Tech Talks in 20 podcast. In her prior roles as chief editor of Direct Marketing News, 1to1, and CRM magazines, she set the editorial vision and strategy. This led to increased readership, reader engagement, and revenue.
Sheʼs a sought after speaker and has been cited on several lists of notable industry insiders to follow on social media. Ginger received a DMCNY Silver Apple lifetime achievement award for her contributions to the marketing industry. In 2023, she was ranked number one CXM Star by Customer Experience Magazine.
Ian Golding, CEO & founder of Customer Experience Consultancy
Ian Golding is a highly influential freelance CX consultant. He published ‘Customer What? The honest and practical guide to customer experience‘ in 2018. Also closely tied to Awards International, Ian is the chairman of the judging panels of the UK Customer Experience Awards, and the Gulf Customer Experience Awards. Ian is with CXM from the beginning. In 2020, he was ranked number one CXM Star by Customer Experience Magazine. In 2023, he joined the first CXM Stars judging panel contributing to the fairness and integrity of the competition.
