The Finalists for the inaugural UK Employee Experience Awards 2014 have been announced this week. Congratulations to the 66 companies who have been shortlisted across 14 categories for delivering outstanding employee experience, with consequent benefits not only to their teams, but to their business results too.

After the difficult task of narrowing down the entries, the Finalist Screening Panel has published the Finalist List with companies as diverse as LV= to The University of Leeds making the cut. The Finalists have all been selected according to strict criteria based around a business case format. With a variety of industries represented, those businesses that have been shortlisted have been able to demonstrate the return on investment in people, innovation and customer experience.

Neil Skehel, Managing Director of Awards International, the organisation who run the Awards, said: “We are delighted with the calibre of entries we have received for these new Awards. I look forward to hearing the inspiring stories about all the hard work that goes on behind the customer view to ensure not only great employee experience, but great business results too. Congratulations to all the Finalists and good luck in the final round!”

The Finalists will now prepare to make their presentations to the panel of Judges who will reveal the winners at the Awards ceremony on Friday 27th March at The Grand Connaught Rooms, London.

The Awards team is now busy recruiting applicants for the judging panel who will be putting the finalists through their paces and hearing how they have gone the extra mile for their employees, whilst at the same time meeting their business objectives. Judging at the Awards is a fantastic way of increasing your understanding about best practice, sharing knowledge and experience, raising your profile, making new contacts and celebrating with the winners, whilst getting exposure as to what makes them successful.

If you think you’ve got what it takes visit the “Become a Judge” and “Meet the Judges” pages on the Awards website for more information and email your CV for screening to judging@awardsinternational.eu.

The Awards team would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to enter this year. Even if you haven’t submitted an entry it is still possible for you to come along and experience the excitement of the Awards Finals for yourself. The day is a fantastic way of building on your knowledge of employee experience best practice. As well as attending the sponsor workshops, you can also reap the benefits from the networking opportunities available with fellow employee experience professionals.
