Gumtree welcomes Gioia Manetti as its new Chief Customer Officer. She will be responsible for marketing, customer support, and the core product team, as well as supporting the business strategy to become one of the top ten sites in the UK.
Gioia will report into Robin Voogd, General Manager, who comments on the appointment: “We always put our users first in everything we do at Gumtree – and Gioia will focus on ensuring they have a safe and successful experience. “
Manetti joins from eBay’s office in Italy, where she was the General Manager of the No.1 classifieds site, Kijiji.It. She joined eBay in 2006 with previous experience in strategy, marketing, and business development.
