The next generation of Customer Experience on offer in the cinema industry will be the focus of a conference in Dubai this autumn.

The second MENA Cinema Forum will bring key industry players together in Dubai on October 22nd – 24th, and will include an expo, awards ceremony, workshops, corporate meetings, film slates, screenings, and much more.

Organized by Great Minds Event Management, the second edition of the Forum is offering bigger opportunities – being much larger in scale and richer in content – and is designed to enhance industry evolution through updates on regional projects and policies, technological and technical advancements in cinemas, and best practices in the next generation of Customer Experience and engagement, through a mixture of various content and mediums.

Leila Masinaei, Managing Partner of Great Minds Event Management, said: “We are glad to announce Vox Cinemas as the Forum’s strategic partner, and proud that the forum continues to gain the attention of regional and international cinema industry mega players, to join the conversations and contribute to changing the cinema landscape in the MENA region.”

The inaugural event in October 2018 gathered over 600 experts, from 45 countries across the cinema industry supply chain. The 2019 edition will build on that with over 60 speakers and 800 experts, from 50 countries.

Taking place at the Conrad Dubai, over 100 exhibitors will showcase their products and technologies, while the exhibition floor will host a series of cinema industry talks, focused in the first day on building materials, and design and on technology on the second day.

Day three will focus on regional content production and promote best practice in this field and encourage regional and international collaborations. A series of six masterclasses will address critical topics such as film financing, script writing, production and acting, catered to professionals and newcomers alike.

Leila Masinaei added: “It’s clear we’re in a rapidly evolving media ecosystem driven by different capacities, higher expectations, and manifesting itself simultaneously in various dimensions.

“The dynamics of the cinema industry are developing while a cohort of ever-expanding super competitors and more focused players strive to build relevance at the right scale, we witness business models being reinvented so all players can tap into new revenue streams.”
