Entries are now open for the 2020 Gulf Sustainability and CSR Awards, which will take place in Dubai next June.

An annual celebration of green practices and corporate social responsibility, the event is returning to the UAE for its fourth year and will see finalists descend on the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel where they will present their case to an expert judging panel with the aim of securing an award in one of 12 categories.

Titles in the sights of entrants for 2020 include Best Sustainability Education or Awareness Programme; Innovation in Sustainable Technologies; and CSR and Sustainability Team of the Year.

The 2019 awards saw firms including Dulsco, Taqeef, and Bee’ah claim titles, and hopefuls for next year’s event have until January 23 to submit an application.

A special Early Bird Discount offer is available for those who enter before December 26, while the list of finalists will be revealed in February.

The event is hosted by Awards International, and CEO Neil Skehel said: “Dubai is at the forefront of cutting-edge sustainability advancement, and is the ideal place to honour firms in the Gulf which live by sustainable ideals and practise good CSR.

“This will be the fourth year for these awards, and being cross-sector, business professionals from across the economy will be in attendance. This makes our awards the perfect place to acquire new ideas and see how sustainability and CSR best practice is achieved across the Gulf.

“So whether you’re a large corporation, a dynamic young start-up or an established SME, we want to hear how you’re implementing outstanding sustainability and CSR initiatives.”
